 Questionable quality of shears December 10, 2008
I regularly use a set of Wusthof Classic knives for our daily cooking, and would give that set 5 stars for durability, sharpness, and joy of use. I thought it would be a great idea to get a second set of come apart shears, as shears are very commonly used in Asian style cooking. So I was dissappointed when I received the shears in this set. My old still working set of shears are really very easy to use. The shears in this set, though the same model number, were not! There was more noticeable friction between the blades. After deskinning lots of chicken legs, my hand was sore. Not what I was expecting from Wusthof. The knives themselves are very nice.
 Great deal December 9, 2008
I bought this 3-piece set on sale for $45 and at that price a tremendous deal. My beloved kitchen sheers died after many years and these were brought as a replacement (the 2 included knives were just a bonus for my purposes).
The two blades of the kitchen sheers detach for easy washing and cleaning, and are sharp and capable of cutting through tough meat and tissue (and small bones) without difficulty.
Overall, I have been very pleased with the quality of this product.

Wusthof makes some of the best knives in the world. This set is great as a starter set for your kitchen, they feel wonderful in hand and look great.

I love these knives, and the kitchen shears are great. I especially like the way the scissors come apart for easy cleaning and sharpening. The set was a great price, too.
