 Book every girl should read!!! January 8, 2009
This book is really good. Lots of concepts that you think you know but when you read it you will understand it better or puts it into a different perspective to change your ways and better your dating skills, your demeanor and get you to getting a good man and not just a bad boy! Sorry this is so short but you should really read it and get your own views. I don't want to ruin it!!!

This does exactly what it says it will do, show you how you've been a doormat and how to become and centered, confident, NICE, desirable person. I personally apply these concepts to all aspects of life.

I bought this title after having time to kill at a relative's house for the holidays and opted to buy the ebook. Originally, I wanted to buy her other book but it was unavailable and thought even though I'm not convinced marriage is for me, there may be some valuable points here. I can tell you I get easily distracted and this book kept my attention for the entire duration (not an easy feat!). That said, I really enjoyed the book. In fact, after reading this book, I used some of the things she mentioned in the book and landed a lunch date with a random guy that sat next to me on the plane. Normally if I meet a man on a plane we normally separate immediately after the plane's landing. So...we have made progress. The author writes in conversational language (which I enjoy) and made so many great points about how to speak to men, not to apologize, not to be over-eager or give a guy the world (at first) as you lose their respect and interest. All of it resonated so much, this (e)book is worth its weight in gold for me as I now know what I had been doing in the past to sabotage next steps with men. :) I highly recommend its purchase for the single gal that's been "missing the mark" in dating/relationships.  Why Men Marry Bitches - My Review. December 26, 2008
I received this book for Christmas. Initially, I was very excited to read it, as I had read Argov's previous book entitled "Why Men Love Bitches." The back cover of this book reads: "Make him chase YOU...Until you catch HIM." That made me think that this book would be filled with brand new wisdom and knowledge in regards to leading the male to pursue a date. If you've read Argov's previous book, "Why Men Love Bitches", don't bother buying this book as it is essentially the exact same book. Although some things are helpful, the advice Argov gives in "Why Men Marry Bitches" is outdated and many of her "relationship Principles" are similar to, or the same as, the dos and dont's in "The Rules". This book would have been of much greater use to me in my very naive twenties. This book is helpful somewhat WHILE you're dating, however, the statement on the back cover "Make Him Chase You Until You Catch Him is misleading in that I thought I would get tips on how to get a man to pursue a date. If one wants to use the tactics in this book, one must be involved in a dating scenario first. Argov places all men together in one lump, and gives them a lot of credit for analyzing the woman and whether she is marriage material or not. That doesn't explain why men marry porn stars, strippers and drug addicts. Every male and female individual is unique and so is each relationship. I've seen many a woman get married when she did all the chasing and pursuit. (Even though "men are the hunters". This book gets three stars for entertainment only, but not concrete advice.

Its really sad when you think about what women are up against these days. Thanks to women's lib, we are expected not only to be beautiful, great cooks, housekeepers and mothers, but also to own our own home, have a career making six figures and still have the energy to stroke a guy's ego so that he doesn't feel "threatened" by us. And on top of that, there is this whole new breed of women willing to have threesomes, work two jobs and give the guy "freedom" to do whatever the hell he wants. Enough is enough.
This is a great book. But women should stop looking at men as the enemy and acting like victims. Women have done it to themselves. Why on earth would a guy want a decent woman anymore when there are married women willing to make homemade porn and bring "friends" home. It is a rare man indeed who would actually prefer a decent woman with a backbone.
