| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description ABOUT THE BOOK A Thyme for Peace concerns a psychotherapist’s search for inner peace; the attainment of which she believes to be the foundation for world peace. Told with warmth and humor, this is the story of a spiritual pilgrimage. Dr. Miller wryly observes that “waging peace is finally rooted in the Judeo-Christian heritage; a notion which provides plenty of thought-provoking ideas for readers. Throughout the narrative, the reader is guided along this journey of wonderment and philosophical musings while seeking comfort and spiritual nourishment in the author’s spectacular woodland garden, finally and always her source of spiritual renewal and comfort. Like her earlier work, To Everything There is a Season, this volume is part gardening and part spiritual nourishment. It is a book offering both practical advice and philosophical comfort. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Alice G. Miller, PhD, is a psychotherapist in private practice in Potomac, Maryland. She describes herself as a therapist by profession and a gardener by spirit. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work, Dr. Miller is the author of three previous books including To Everything There is a Season. Prior to entering private practice, she has been the Director of a Youth Crisis Center, Director of a residential treatment program, and individual and family therapist with a psychiatric group practice.
