Logitech Trackman Wheel - Simply AWESOME! December 6, 2008 i currently own three, one at home, one at work, and a spare. i have used the Trackman devices for about 8 years now and it fits so PERFECT to the contour of my hand all i have to do is flick my thumb to move the cursor anywhere on the screen. while not for everyone, i recommend everyone test them out to see if it is good for them. i have converted a few from the old MS-type mice. i could not find the last two i bought, had to buy used from e-bay, but that is how good they are, i'd rather buy a used Trackman than a new regular mouse.
great mouse, just not the exact one shown July 26, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great trackball! One of the prior reviews makes a good point.... the position of the ball is an important factor. For me though, I prefer this mouse which puts the ball under my thumb, versus the ones with the ball under the index and middle fingers which are a pain to use. Why? because with those, you tend to move the ball with your fingers, and then move your fingers over to the buttons to press them..... WAY more work and really tiring if you do it all day. With the ball under the thumb you move the ball with the thumb and press with the fingers, so your hand does not need to be repositioned. I suggest to anyone that has not used a trackball before to go to staples or bestbuy and get an idea of the feel before buying. NOTE that this vendor DOES NOT seem to sell the model shown in the picture which has the red accents near the ball, and instead delivered the regular one sold by Amazon.... so dont let that be a factor when choosing who to buy from. "Logitech Trackman Wheel Optical" sold by Amazon is the exact same thing... so again, a really good trackball, but since not exactly what I expected, then only 3 stars.
logitech trackball February 13, 2008 I feel that the Logitech Trackball gives me more accuracy than the regular mouse for doing graphics
I have 3 of these January 7, 2008 One at home, one at work, and one PS2 version from before they made USB versions. The best and easiest mouse there is. I hope they never stop making these.
Greatest mouse ever. January 13, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love this mouse it is easy to use. You don't need a lot of desktop space to move it around like other mouse's because it stays stationary. Is very comfortable even when using the computer for hours on end. Once you get used to it I can use it faster and more efficiently than my old mouse. The only downside to this mouse is if you drop it enough the ball will pop out sometimes. But it's easy to put it back in so that's not really that big of a deal.
